EANS Vascular Section Annual Meeting
We are delighted to announce the First Annual Meeting of the EANS Vascular Section, which will be taking place in Nice, France. We have worked with the European Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy (ESMINT), to deliberately coincide the meeting with the ESMINT congress, allowing EANS attendees to have the opportunity of being present at both events.
The purpose of this first joint meeting between the EANS Section of Neurovascular Surgery and the European Society of Minimally Invasive Therapies (ESMINT) is to promote and consolidate a truly interdisciplinary platform for neurosurgeons, neurointerventionalists, neuroradiologists, neurologists, and others who are interested in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases.
There will be there will be an EANS Section meeting on Wednesday September 4th, immediately followed by a joint day with ESMINT on Thursday September 5th, prior to ESMINT’s two day meeting on September 6th and 7th.
The EANS Section day on 4th September will cover topics such as arachnoid hemorrhage, aneurysm surgery, AVM surgery, bypass surgery and clinical and experimental scientific aspects of cerebrovascular research. Scientific presentations will be determined based on the open call for abstracts.
The joint second day will feature keynote speakers and panel discussions, covering giant aneurysms in the morning, and AVMs in the afternoon.
The meeting will be an historic event and we would like to encourage everybody who shares our interest in cerebrovascular surgery to attend the meeting and to participate actively.
