The Administrative Council

The strategic direction of the EANS is determined largely by its Administrative Council. This body is elected every four years and consists of full time practising neurosurgeons who take on their unpaid roles for the benefit of European neurosurgery. The current council consists of:

The EANS also employs two full time salaried personnel, who are responsible for the day to day running of the organisation.

Susie Hide The Executive Administrator, Susie Hide (UK) is responsible for strategic initiatives, liaison and collaboration with industry and associated organisations and for the organisation of CME courses. She also has overall responsibility for the efficient administration of the EANS.

Petra ErnestovaThe Training and Administrative Co-ordinator, Petra Ernestova (CZ) is responsible for the organisation of the European Neurosurgical Training Courses and EANS Research Course, as well as for much of the day to day administration of the EANS, including liaison with individual members, maintenance of our database and also of our website.
