Individual Membership of The European Association of Neurosurgical Societies
Individual Membership of the EANS offers a great chance to become a more active part of the European neurosurgical family.
Non-European neurosurgeons are also very welcome to join as Associate Individual Members (see below for the full list of membership types).
As an Individual Member you will benefit from:
• a printed copy of Acta Neurochirurgica each month
• online access to Acta Neurochirurgica which allows you to read and download fulltext versions of the articles in PDF
• discounted rates on various other neurosurgical publications, including access to our online EANS bookstore
• discounts on standard registration fees for EANS/CME courses and Annual Meetings
• regular information about neurosurgical news and events, sent directly to your own registered email address
• the possibility of using our distribution lists to share information about your activities, news and events with other members
• regular copies of our EANS Newsletter
• the opportunity to apply for EANS Fellowships and Prizes, open only to our Individual Members
• access to our brand new database to personalise your profile
We are currently looking into possibilities and resources for offering more interesting bonuses to our members as well as for developing the EANS website into an interactive meeting point for European neurosurgeons.

Membership Types & Fees
Full: fully trained and qualified practicing neurosurgeon
Price: 200 Euros per year
Junior: neurosurgeon in training
Price: 125 Euros per year
Applications for Junior Membership must be accompanied by a letter from the applicant’s chief of Training programme confirming the “Junior” status. Please note that all Junior members will automatically be upgraded to Full membership six years after application.
Associate: full member of a non-european neurosurgical society or member of a society with an interest in neurosurgery
Price: 200 Euros per year
Senior: neurosurgeon completely retired from the practice of neurosurgery and classified as senior by their national neurosurgical society
Price: 125 Euros per year
