The European Association of Neurosurgical Societies is currently looking for an experienced Sponsorship Coordinator for its office in Brussels.

EANS: A PROFESSIONAL COMMUNITY TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF NEUROSURGICAL PATIENT CARE THROUGH TRAINING, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH.

The EANS is a fast-growing, independent association, both of European neurosurgical societies and of individual neurosurgeons all over the world.

EANS aim is to enable its members to enhance the care they deliver to their patients by facilitating the exchange of scientific information at the highest level. In pursuit of this goal, EANS arranges a wide range of meetings, symposia and educational courses, including the European Congress of Neurosurgery and the highly regarded European Training Courses in Neurosurgery.

The Sponsorship Coordinator will be asked to:

·         Create, improve and maintain databases of Industry related potential sponsors for EANS related projects

·         Create, launch and coordinate all Fundraising and Sponsorship campaigns for EANS related projects

·         Achieve specific Fundraising and Sponsorship revenue goals for EANS projects

·         Follow the benefits of each sponsor and make sure that a top-notch service is provided

·         Create, improve and maintain the EANS relationship with the medical industry

·         Search, prepare and submit grant applications either to European or Industry related opportunities

·         Work closely with the Project Coordinator of EANS events/ training courses

·         Report to the EANS Executive Director

 


 

The Sponsorship Coordinator must have:

·         At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position

·         Knowledge of the healthcare industry

·         Excellent English Speaker – fluency in other languages will be considered as a plus

·         Willingness to make 5-10 trips annually

·         Talent in sales, marketing and a strong personality
