Here you'll find a selection of resources and tools to help with the organisation of training programmes, for both trainees and departments. Additionally you'll find the basis for the accreditation procedure and our guidelines.

This document sets out standards and guidelines for neurosurgical residency training and for approval of training programmes in the countries of the EU / EFTA and associated member states. It is recognised that there are a number of structural and operational differences in the health care systems, appointment procedures and training systems in these different countries. This document provides the basis for the development of a harmonised, comprehensive, structured and balanced training programme in Neurosurgery.

JRAAC is very pleased to present a logbook developed with the financial support of the EANS. The electronic version of the logbook will enable trainees to record all operations in a convenient, user-friendly way, and produces a comprehensive summary of surgeries performed.

This trainee evaluation form has been developed to facilitate the semi-annual progress evaluation of trainees. It is well known that measuring the quality of professional and personal development is difficult. This Evaluation Sheet sets out a framework of criteria with which to conduct an evaluation.

    The JRAAC Committee consists of 11 members: 5 from the UEMS and 5 from the EANS plus Past-Chairman of JRAAC.
