The Research Committee

Welcome to the Research Committee page

The EANS Research Committee is primarily responsible for neurosurgical research matters in EANS country members. The Committee aims to act as an advocate and conduit for increasing the quality of neurosurgery research by:

  • making research more accessible to all neurosurgeons
  • encouraging multi-centre and multi-national collaboration
  • organising training courses on research methodology
  • judging relevant research awards
  • The Committee also aims to act as an advocate and conduit for increasing patient and public engagement in neurosurgical research across Europe. The current Chair of the Research Committee is Radoslaw Rola (Poland).
