EANS Advanced Course in Spinal Surgery

Format of the EANS Advanced Spine course:

It is a two-part course. Part I, 'extended indications and advanced operative techniques', was offered in 2017, and will again be offered in 2019, and Part II,  'complications and management', is taking place in 2018.

The course employs various teaching methods including plenary lectures, interactive case discussion and round tables, and cadaver hands-on workshops.

Target audience: Recently qualified neurosurgeons and neurosurgeons specialised in spinal neurosurgery as well as orthopaedic surgeons interested in spinal procedures; last year residents are also welcome to attend.

 

This is a unique international course giving participants the opportunity for informal debate with their peers as well as with the teaching faculty who are internationally recognized speakers from various European countries.
